We aim to promote the use of best practices in assessment, treatment, and caregiver training by practitioners, clinicians, specialists, educators, first responders, medical professionals, and all those who support individuals and families affected by severe problem or challenging behavior. We aim to do this in an equitable and inclusive manner that takes into consideration and is compassionate toward all individuals’ needs regardless of diagnosis, severity of problem or challenging behavior, disability, and other backgrounds (e.g., age, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, economic status).
